Update On The Marriage Strike – Part 2

For women to get married requires a man (unless you’re gay) and it is important to know what some men are thinking relative to getting married. It is apparent that there is a widespread trend in men’s thinking and actions giving validity to the existence of a Marriage Strike. Government Census figures on marriages, divorces, unmarried households, etc. confirm a change in the family structure in America.

I’m sure that the most vocal of these proponents are not going to write in glowing terms about women since they see women’s actions and attitudes towards men as reasons to encourage and perpetuate the strike by men. More than likely, many of them have suffered financial suicide resulting from divorce.

For the purposes of this post, a list of links and stories that give further credence to the proposition that the marriage strike is growing are shown below. When you read some of these articles, keep in mind that many of them are written by men who perceive that an injustice exists and this is their way of responding to it.

Be aware that some of the articles are written by women who acknowledge the damage that the family law injustice system is imposing on spouses. One of the key things to note in the articles below is that the Marriage Strike is non just local in origin….it is worldwide! This should indicate a warning that something is amiss and if it continues to increase, it portends ominous things for the future and the state of marriage.

Here we go again
