Divorce and family law is based on an antiquated social custom that it is a man's responsibility to support women because they are weaker, incapable of being equal to men, and better equipped to raise children. This is simply not the case in today's society and our laws regarding "lifetime" alimony need to be changed to reflect this fact.
Due to legal cases in progress that need a lot of research, I have been unable to put a post together. As soon as I can get these cases filed, I will start back up with regular postings. Stay tuned for another week or so.
